The use of this site is governed by the policies, terms and conditions set forth below. Please read them carefully. Your use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions shall void any previous terms or conditions included with any order, whether or not such terms, or conditions, were signed by a Houseofmemory.com representative. Houseofmemory.com reserves the right to make changes to this site and these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
DISCLAIMER
The warranties set forth in this agreement are in lieu of and Buyer hereby
expressly waives all other warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or
statutory, including without limitation any other warranties of merchantability
or fitness for a particular purpose, and all such other warranties are hereby
disclaimed and excluded by House of memory. In no event shall House of memory
be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, punitive or consequential
damages in connection with or arising out of the sale, installation, use,
operation, service or repair of any product whether based on breach of warranty
or contract, strict liability, negligence or otherwise, whether or not House of
memory shall have been advised as to the possibility or reason for any such
potential loss or damage. The sole and exclusive remedy for breach of House of
memory’s warranty of the products is stated herein. In all other cases
(exclusive of House of memory’s liability stated herein) House of memory’s sole
and exclusive liability with respect to any matter arising from or connected
with the sale, installation, use, operation, service or repair of any products
or House of memory’s performance under this agreement, whether based on breach
of warranty, contract, strict liability, negligence, or otherwise, shall not
exceed the original cost to Buyer of the products sold or provided.
WARRANTY/SYSTEM REVISIONS
1. WARRANTY Seller's memory has a lifetime warranty against physical and
functional defects. This does not apply to system or software compatibility or
for parts ordered and installed improperly by the purchaser. Since this is a
self-installed product, Houseofmemory.com Liability shall be limited to replacement
of memory only.
2. GUARANTEE OF COMPATIBILITY Our Guarantee of Compatibility extends only to
information we provide with respect to a specific computer application. It does
not extend to information provided by the manufacturer, other sources or the experience
of the end user or their technical staff. In the event that information we
provide proves to be erroneous, restitution shall be limited to replacement at
current market value of the correct part.
2. SYSTEM REVISIONS Revisions to your computer that cause memory that was
working, to stop working, are not covered under our warranty and return
policies. We only guarantee the memory to work under the conditions for which
the memory was first sold.
The following customer changes are examples that will void our
replacement/return warranty (this list may change without notice); Changing
your processor, Changing your motherboard, changing your firmware, updating
your BIOS, overclocking, Adding additional memory that is not compatible with
our memory, altering the module in any way.
Restocking Fees
All returns for Refund, are subject to a 25% restocking fee
RETURN POLICY
All Returns must be received within 30 days of the purchase date and must be
accompanied by a copy of the original receipt (email confirmations or internet
order copies will not be accepted) as well as either an RMA number provided by
an authorized Houseofmemory.com employee or a completed Quick RMA form obtained
from our website. RMAs are valid for 7 days from date of issue and must be received
within that time. Returns must be securely packaged, prepaid and shipped via a
secure carrier. Houseofmemory.com is not responsible for packages lost or
damaged while in transit to us.
Packages refused at the time of delivery will be considered non-defective
returns and are subject to a 25% restocking fee and all incurred shipping
charges regardless of the method used to order the product. Shipping and
handling fees are not refundable for any reason.
All returns of defective or working merchandise may be repaired, replaced at
the discretion of Houseofmemory.com's management.
Once an order has been processed, any measures that must be taken to correct
either the merchandise in the order or the shipping method or location will be
considered a non-defective return and subject to any policies that apply to
such a return.
RMA
Any order may be returned within 30 days of the purchase date for exchange
using the Quick RMA form available on our website or you can simply ship the
merchandise back to us with the copy of your invoice and a letter explaining
what the problem is.
For all returns please use a secured means to get the product back to us. For
your own protection we recommend UPS or Certified US mail with insurance. It is
the customer’s responsibility to make sure the products gets to our facility
safely. Thank You
SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS Special Order items, not normally stocked by
Houseofmemory.com, that have been requested by the customer are purchased by
the customer under a no refund, no exchange policy. The item description will
state 'Special Order, No refunds' on the invoice.
CROSS SHIPMENT A cross shipment is considered a new order and is charged the
full price of the product plus a non-refundable shipping and handling fee. The
defective product must be returned with all accessories within seven (7)
business days for credit. No refund will be issued after thirty (30) days of
the purchase date or if the product is returned incomplete. A 25% restocking
fee will apply if these directions are not followed.
PLEASE NOTE - As per company policy we do not provide nor do we offer to provide installation instructions for any module we sell. If proper installation instructions cannot be obtained from the owner’s manual or manufacturer of the computer, we recommend that you employ the services of a competent computer professional. Seller is not responsible for any expenses incurred as a result of using or attempting to us one of our items.
Technical support is available 24 hours through our website or by phone 877-271-5050 from Monday - Friday, 9am until 4pm, Pacific Time.
In the event you receive a product that does not work in your computer or is not correct for your computer you will need to obtain an RMA for replacement. There are 2 ways you can do this:
Quick RMA:
If you wish to return a purchase for exchange and do not require the assistance of our technical staff, you can submit the return using our Quick RMA form available here: Be sure to include a copy of your invoice with the return.
Phone Support:
If you are unsure about the replacement product you require, you can obtain assistance from our technical support department at 310-271-5050 from Monday - Friday, 8am until 4pm, Pacific Time (excluding Holidays). Please have the following information available when you call:
Your order number.
Your billing address.
The original receipt/invoice supplied with your order.
The complete model number of the computer or motherboard for which your purchase is intended (this will be necessary to guarantee compatibility).
When returning a purchase, please be sure to include the RMA number on the outside of the package and a copy of the original invoice inside the package.
OTHER ITEMS
All products, with the exception of memory, are covered by the warranty issued
by the manufacturer of the product. All warranty and returns must be done
through the products manufacturer. All returns for Refund are subject to a 25%
restocking fee. Special Order items, not normally stocked by Houseofmemory.com,
that have been requested by the customer are purchased by the customer under a
no refund, no exchange policy. The item description will state 'Special Order,
No refunds' on the invoice.
ORDER ACCEPTANCE POLICY
1. Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not
signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of
our offer to sell. Houseofmemory.com reserves the right at any time after
receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason.
Houseofmemory.com reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order,
without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you ordered of
any item. We may require additional verifications or information before
accepting any order.
2. Houseofmemory.com is not responsible for any fee's incurred by the buyer as
a result of any purchase or attempted purchase, regardless of the reason(s) for
the fees. This includes but is not limited to; bounced check fees, duties,
credit card fees and over-limit fees.
SPECIAL NOTES ON ORDERS
If you do not see the item or price you were quoted, you can still order by
e-mailing us your information or by calling us, toll free, at 1-877-271-5050.
All orders are subject to verification once received. Please note that web
orders may take up to 2 business days to process. We reserve the right, without
further notice and at our discretion, to upgrade your ordered item to a part of
equal or greater value.
ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY
Houseofmemory.com reserves the right to cancel any order for any reason without
notice to the customer. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price
due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our
suppliers, Houseofmemory.com shall have the right to refuse or cancel any
orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Houseofmemory.com
shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the
order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has
already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled,
Houseofmemory.com shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account
in the amount of the incorrect price.
PLEASE NOTE - Changes or cancellations to orders placed on the internet cannot
be accepted by email. If you place on order online and need to amend any
information with regard to the order you must contact us directly at
1-877-271-5050 from 8am to 4pm Monday - Friday excluding Holidays.
